Holy iShoot

So this guy wrote iShoot for the iPhone/iTouch.  He’s had over 2 million downloads and has sold 200,000 copies at $3 a pop (according to his Twitter feed).  That’s $600,000 since October 2008, of which he gets 70%.  So that’s $420,000.  Pretty amazing.  That’s why I’m convinced writing for the iPhone is a profitable situation.  People are starving for good apps and are willing to pay a few bucks.  The iFart guy made $40,000 in 2 days.
